It is 3 am downtown Oakland C.A. I’ve been on the lookout for 3 hours now, wondering when the suspect will show up. I am a detective who’s been hired to catch the thief whose been stealing doughnuts from “Krispy Kremes.” My car is parked behind the trees, completely shrouded by the darkness. Holding up my coffee and doughnut, I continue to chew down the delicate glazed doughnut. From time to time I hear sudden footsteps and I become nervous , but then disappointed to find out that its just cat. As the night gets deeper, I become more tired and restrained. As I step out to check out the shop a bit closer, mosquitoes constantly annoy me. The sweat drops from my forehead and I get closer to the shop. I’m running out of stamina and my legs are shaking. I become more and more nervous as I approach the shop around the corner. I take out my pistol, and wait for any abnormality. Then, I hear a loud crank from the store. I get back to my car, pick up my shotgun, and call up my partner who has been on the look out from the other side. I hide behind the car waiting for the suspect to run out with his doughnuts. The moment I see him, I try to run and catch him, but hes too fast. Inevitably, I shoot him with my shotgun wounding him.
